Join an inspiring ceramics course with the artist collective Råbrent, combined with a guided tour of the exhibition Heidi + Rasmus = Sant!
The course begins with a guided tour of the exhibition Heidi + Rasmus = Sant in the Rasmus Meyer Collections. Here, we explore the ceramic works of artist Heidi Bjørgan and draw inspiration from her unique artistic expression before continuing to the workshop at Permanenten.
In the workshop, the artists from Råbrent will introduce three exciting hand-building techniques: coil building, pinch pot, and slab building. You are free to create whatever you like and can make up to three objects with the clay provided. The instructors will guide you through the process, and at the end of the evening, you'll choose from six different glazes, which will be applied to your pieces later.
No prior experience is needed to join the course – it’s suitable for everyone! The finished pieces will typically be ready for collection 4–8 weeks after the course. We’ll provide coffee and tea, and you’ll also have the option to purchase drinks and snacks from the bar at Bien Centro to bring along.

Meeting Point: Rasmus Meyer Collections. The course will take place in the workshop at Permanenten, 1st floor.
