Join us for a panel discussion relating to the exhibition Lotte Konow Lund. What she said. The conversation will feature the artist herself, curator Ana María Bresciani Arenas, Dr. Amy Tobin (Associate Professor, University of Cambridge), and author and journalist Lena Lindgren. Together, they will explore Konow Lund’s artistic practice, using the exhibition and its accompanying catalogue as a starting point for reflection.

The discussion will be held in English.

Lotte Konow Lund is a Norwegian artist and professor at the Oslo National Academy of the Arts. Throughout her career, Konow Lund has engaged with pressing social issues, questioning class, gender, and religion, making her a significant voice in cultural and public debate in Norway. Her artistic practice is diverse and technically varied, spanning video art, sculpture, painting, printmaking, installation, and a socially engaged practice rooted in collaboration and dialogue.

Ana María Bresciani Arenas is a Colombian curator and writer. She works at KORO—Public Art Norway in a project group for the New Government Quarter. Previously, she was the senior curator of Modern and Contemporary Art at Henie Onstad Kunstsenter, developing exhibitions, publications, and related programming. Bresciani Arenas has edited numerous publications and exhibition catalogues and is Chair of the Board at the Bergen Centre for Electronic Arts.

Dr Amy Tobin is a British art historian, academic, and curator specializing in contemporary art, histories of feminism, and radical forms of collaboration. She holds a master’s degree from the Courtauld Institute of Art and a PhD from the University of York. Tobin is an Associate Professor at the University of Cambridge and has published articles in renowned journals, contributed to, and authored books, including Women Artists Together – Art in the Age of Women's Liberation (Yale University Press, 2023). She has curated multiple exhibitions at Kettle’s Yard, a gallery for modern and contemporary art. Tobin is also co-director of Cambridge Visual Culture and serves on the Higher Education Committee of the Association for Art History.

Lena Lindgren is a Norwegian journalist, commentator and author. She has written for KlassekampenDagens Næringsliv, and served as both political and cultural editor at Morgenbladet. Lindgren is particularly known for her writings on politics, culture, ideology, and technology. In 2021, she won the Brage Prize for her book Ekko – An Essay on Algorithms and Desire, which explores how modern technology, particularly social media and algorithms, shapes society and self-perception. In 2018, she was the editor of the journal Samtiden, where Lotte Konow Lund served as visual editor.
