About art and life #3: Lisbeth Bruvold & Margot K. Birkeland
In the conversation series “About art and life,” Kode invites inspiring guests for an informal evening of thoughtful dialogue and open discussions. Using art as a starting point, we delve into engaging topics and relevant issues related to art, life, and pressing societal questions.
Each guest selects an artwork from Kode’s collection that holds special meaning for them. This evening, we are joined by Margot K. Birkeland and Lisbeth Bruvold!
Margot K. Birkeland is a product designer and founder of Råbrent ceramics studio, located at Lille Øvregaten 18, which she runs alongside designer Kine Ulvestad. Over the years, Råbrent has become a dynamic hub for art production, retail, workshops, and creative activities.
Lisbeth Bruvold is a lawyer and co-owner of VILT Vintage and the concept store ÖY, located at Kong Oscars gate 22. Through these ventures, she has worked to make second-hand clothing more accessible in downtown Bergen while also highlighting local brands and talents through ÖY.
