About the Artist
Marina Kan Selvik (b. 1989) is a classical pianist based in Oslo. Selvik is a laureate of numerous international competitions, including Münchner Klavierpodium, Jazeps Vitols International Piano Competition in Riga, Val Tidone Competition in Italy, and Clamo Piano Competition in Spain. In 2014, she achieved the remarkable feat of being the only Norwegian pianist to win the Nordic Piano Competition in Malmö.
As a soloist, Selvik has performed with prestigious orchestras such as the Bergen Philharmonic Orchestra, KORK (Norwegian Radio Orchestra), Trondheim Symphony Orchestra, Lithuanian National Symphony Orchestra, Armenian National Philharmonic Orchestra, Orquesta Sinfónica de la Región de Murcia, as well as the Alicante Symphony Orchestra. She has given concerts at various festivals, including the Musical Chairs Chamber Music Festival in Montreal, Eurasia Music Games in Kazakhstan, and the Bergen International Festival.
Marina Kan Selvik received her education from the Tchaikovsky Conservatory in Moscow, the Norwegian Academy of Music, and the Royal Academy of Music in London.

This year it is easy to experience the music at Troldhaugen, in combination with art.
We offer a ticket that includes both a bus to Troldhaugen, a concert ticket with entrance to the museum, and entrance to Kode's art museums on the same day.
The bus leaves from the Bergen city centre at 11.00 am, outside Rasmus Meyer, and back at the same place.
Prices:
Ticket that includes concert + bus transport from Bergen city center + entrance to Kode's art museums: NOK 400/360/100.
Concert ticket only: NOK 200/130/100/50.
Practical information about the lunchtime concerts:
Two concerts per day: at 11.30 am and at 1 pm.
Duration: 30 minutes.
For those who choose a ticket with bus transport: The bus leaves at 11.00 am and returns at approximately 2.30 pm.
The tickets include entry to the museum and to Grieg's villa.
The tickets are not refundable.
Note that Troldhaugen is closed on Mondays.
