Welcome to lunchtime concerts at Siljustøl every Sunday in July!
Here you will meet some of our leading young pianists, who present their own selected Sæverud repertoire with musical knowledge and a personal twist.
About the artist
Jørn Skauge (b. 1988) is a highly esteemed and award-winning pianist from Western Norway. Skauge completed his master's degree at the Grieg Academy in Bergen under the guidance of Professor Audun Kayser. At his final master concert in 2015, he played to rare enthusiasm from the audience, and the examiner noted that the young pianist had given a performance of "absolutely world-class" quality. Skauge has performed as a soloist and chamber musician and has collaborated with highly professional musicians from both Norway and abroad.

On one and the same ticket, you get a good package deal.
The ticket includes a bus trip from Bergen city center to Siljustøl, the lunchtime concert at 14.00, bus transport back to the city centre, and free entry to Kode's art museums in central Bergen.
Schedule
12.30 pm: Departure from the Rasmus Meyer museum building (address: Rasmus Meyers allé 7). English-speaking host provides information along the way.
1 pm: Tours of Harald Sæverud's house, with time to explore the outdoor area with an audio guide.
2 pm: Lunchtime Concert. Duration 30 minutes.
3 pm: The bus runs from Siljustøl back to Bergen city center and Rasmus Meyer. The bus journey takes approximately 25 minutes.
