Buy ticketIn this concert, soprano Eldrid Gorset and pianist Martha Berit Belt will perform a selection of French songs from the time of Ambrosia Tønnesen.
Tønnesen spent 23 years of her life in Paris, a period that would greatly influence her development, style, and international recognition.
A hundred years later, Japanese composer Karen Tanaka also spent time in the French capital, and in 1988 she published the piano piece Crystalline. With its impressionistic qualities, her work is welcomed into the Parisian salon.
